Our Story

The Coalition was formed in 2018 as an outgrowth of a Roundtable Discussion involving community leaders, public and private natural resource managers, educators, recreation specialists, and a variety of local private-sector businesses. The diverse recommendations from these discussions provided a roadmap to develop programs to enhance understanding of the important role Baker County’s natural resources play in the wellbeing of our communities.

In 2024 the Coalition became a non profit in Oregon and granted federal tax exemption by 501c3. As well as have an office with The Launch Pad; 2019 Main St Ste. A, Baker City, OR 97814

The Baker Resources Coalition does not discriminate against any person based on race, color, gender, sex, sexual orientation, religion, creed, marital status, national origin, disability, or political belief.
